From teacher education to Phonics World Indonesia
Miss Maria graduated from St. Maria Teacher’s School in 1983 and Sahid Tourism and Entrepreneurial University in 1986. She later studied English at the British Council in Singapore.
After returning to Jakarta, she followed her interest in children’s education through tutoring, opened a learning space in 2011, and founded Phonics World Indonesia at The Bellezza, Permata Hijau, in 2013.
She remains closely involved in understanding children’s starting points, shaping learning activities, and helping parents interpret progress with patience and realistic expectations.
